Established in 2004, Purdue GMP Center (PGC) is a leading contract manufacturing organization (CMO) focused on providing solutions to clients that involve the production of small-volume, non-sterile pharmaceutical products. PGC and our highly educated and experienced staff collaborate to support innovation, solve formulation problems, tackle manufacturing challenges, improve operational efficiency, and address the production needs of our clients, whether for clinical trials or commercialization objectives, under fully cGMP-compliant procedures. Our clients include leading academic institutions, major hospital systems, and pharmaceutical companies of all sizes and stages (from entrepreneurial ventures and startups to established global firms).
PGC's state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, comprised of multifunction suites that allow for greater flexibility, is able to produce a wide variety of pharmaceutical products including tablets, hard gelatin capsules, semi-solids, syrups, suspensions and over-encapsulations. Processes that require the use of organic solvents can be accommodated in rooms specifically designed to handle such operations.
PGC is located in West Lafayette, Indiana, home to Purdue University. The facility is situated in the technology-driven Purdue Research Park of West Lafayette, just north of the University's main campus. Research Park is a major facilitator in commercialization and economic development in Indiana for both startups and established companies, and it is the home of several internationally known service providers.
